When you use EMR Vacation Rentals or Access Vacation Group, you can be assured that the property you rent from us is as close to the images and description as possible. We take many steps to research and check all of our properties before they are activated on our web site. Most of the properties we list, because of their geographic location, we are able to send a member of our company to physically inspect. We call these properties "Verified". The properties we have listed on our site without the "Verified" seal also have been stringently inspected in every way possible except that a member of our Homeowner Listing Team has not physically been to the property.
As we take pride in our hands on service, we staff a position we call the "Homeowner Listing Agent". These people represent our company and help the owners to sign up their property. We do not offer a "do it yourself" service where the owner logs into an online system and enters the information themselves as this method does not guarantee the validity of the property or the accuracy of the listing. Our Homeowner Listing Agents walk the owners through every step of the process to assist them in getting the property just right on our system. This method also helps to allow the homeowners to get to know us and for us to get to know them and provides that extra level of service and our personal touch. Listing properties often requires 2 or 3 visits by the listing agent to the owners property.
With all of our Verified properties, we send a member of our team out to physically inspect the property to ensure that the information provided on our web site is as close a representation of the accommodations as possible. These viewings include visits by our Homeowner Listing Agents, visits performed by one of the photographers that our owners have the option of using as well as a visit by one of our managers to view and accurately price the property.
We take several other safeguards in order to ensure that everything represented by the owner is correct. For instance, we require all verified homeowners to sign a binding contract when signing up. We also request the PID number for the property in order to be able to check the ownership of the property and that there are no liens or pending foreclosures. We also charge a listing fee which people who misrepresent their accommodations don't want to pay.
