Watch the lively marine action unfolding daily in False Creek Harbour from this home in the heart of the city. The False Creek location of this delightful two bedroom, two bathroom condo on Mariners Point, right next to Vancouver's famous Granville Island Public Market, is unbeatable. From the living and dining room, views of the colourful downtown skyscrapers and the snow-capped North Shore mountains are stunning.

The modern black and white kitchen has granite counters, a convection oven as well as a microwave, and all of the other appliances that you need to feel at home. The antique oak table and chairs create an elegant dining area. A electric fireplace gives a cozy feel and provides extra warmth on cold winter days. Both bedrooms have queen beds, and as one is a Murphy Bed, the second bedroom can also double as an office or den during the day. Both a laser printer/fax and an HP Photosmart color printer and copier are provided. There is a built in washer/drier. A Yamaha Portable Grand keyboard is available if you are musically inclined. Flat panel television sets are located in the living area and the second bedroom.

No driving necessary but a parking space is provided for your vehicle. Its an easy walk along the scenic Seawall to Athletes Village and you can walk or take the little ferries which sail around the harbour from Granville Island to other 2010 Olympic venues BC Place Stadium, GM Place and the new convention centre at Canada Place. The transit buses, which can provide access to events at Pacific Coliseum, Richmond Oval, UBC Thunderbird Arena and the Skytrain stations, stop right at the front door. The stop for the Airport Bus, which runs at regular intervals between YVR and the downtown area, is a 10 minute walk.

This home is in the centre of the action and close to every amenity the city can offer. And its all within walking distance! The many cafes, pubs, theatres, shops and market stalls that make up Vancouver's unique Granville Island are within a five minute walk. The Seawall, which provides both pedestrians and cyclists miles of scenic walkways along Vancouver's sandy beaches, from UBC to Stanley Park in the West End, is just steps away. Nearby are both Science World, with its famous IMAX theatre, and the Planetarium/Museum complex for movie buffs, Fifth Avenue Cinemas is four blocks away. The merchants on Fourth Avenue, the nearby kitchy Kitsilano shopping area, sell everything from the latest fashions to imported wines. The neighborhood abounds with coffee houses and restaurants. Everything you will want is right here.
