This charming three storey heritage home is located in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in Vancouver, and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house was built in 1908, and retains much of its original character such as 10 foot ceilings and fir flooring on the main level. The house is located on the corner of a quiet, tree-lined street, and has many large south and east facing windows which let the light stream in throughout the day.

Greeting you at the front door is a delightful front porch with a large teak bench the perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The main level features a cozy living room, as well as a den with a widescreen LCD television. There is also a welcoming dining room which can seat up to 6 people, and a bright bathroom with a claw foot tub and rain shower head. The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, and a fridge with filtered water and an ice maker. Just outside the kitchen is a covered patio with a large stainless steel barbeque, and stairs leading down to the garden.

The ground level has a large master bedroom with a new queen-size mattress, as well as a second bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and space for two single beds or a double bed. There is also a bright laundry area with a washing machine, dryer, sink, and plenty of counter space. The entrance from the ground level to the private fenced garden is handy for bringing in luggage and sporting equipment, and for enjoying the garden in the summer months.

On the upper level is an inviting, large bedroom with sloped ceilings, a new queen-size mattress, and plenty of closet and storage space.

The house is centrally located between Main Street and Commercial Drive where you will find plenty of restaurants, boutiques, delis, and grocery stores. The house is a short walk to the SkyTrain rapid transit station located at Broadway Avenue and Commercial Drive. This station is only 2 stops from downtown where you will find the Vancouver Seawall, Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium, BC Place, GM Place, and numerous restaurants and shops. The SkyTrain also connects to the Canada Line which travels to the Olympic venues located in Richmond, and the Vancouver International Airport. By car, it takes minutes to get to downtown, Granville Island, or the Trout Lake Olympic venue. The house is also a short drive from the Second Narrows Bridge which connects with Highway #1 for fast access to Mount Seymour, Grouse Mountain and Cypress Mountain, as well as the Sea to Sky Highway which leads to Whistler Village.
