Beginning in the kitchen, where you enter the home from the colourful side door, you will notice that the space is bright and immaculately finished with white shaker cabinets, high-end stainless steel appliances and unique, hardy, quartz countertops. With a window above the sink, and a bank of windows in the dining area beyond, this kitchen has incredible views and is flooded with natural light all year round. Its the perfect, well stocked kitchen where you can comfortably find everything you need to flip pancakes, build a burger or whip up a gourmet grilled cheese all while enjoying incredible views of Saltspring Island and the ocean.

The cheerful dining area has a long dining table with gorgeous dining room chairs, a small bar area and is finished with fun, modern decor. With the ample space and gorgeous views, this is a perfect area to have an upscale dinner with friends or family.

To the right of the kitchen, there is a small, bright, office nook, freshly designed with low profile, modern cabinetry, and an upscale, modern desk area, perfect for getting work done or just sending a few emails while on holiday.

The large living room is beautifully furnished with a stylish, plush sectional, colourful Eames style chairs, unique ottoman centrepiece and beautiful mid century modern lamp. With a gorgeous river rock fireplace that you can turn on in the evening and incredible, sweeping views of Saltspring Island and the Saanich Peninsula from the corner windows, this living room is a tranquil place to spend your days and evenings relaxing and watching the sky change.

The main floor is completed by the primary bedroom that boasts a comfortable king-sized bed, high quality linens, a flat screen TV, gas fireplace and private balcony that offers the same sweeping views of the Saanich Inlet as the living room. Here, you can rest and recharge in comfort and style.

The bright, four-piece bathroom on the main floor has a vintage alcove-style tub and shower combination, vanity, and large window to allow lots of natural light.

The above-ground lower floor is where you will find the second and third bedroom, second bathroom, large entrance way with ample storage and an incredible outdoor lounge.

Directly at the bottom of the stairs, guests will find the cloakroom where there is ample storage for all your outerwear and access to the patio through the sliding doors.

To the left, is a brightly decorated modern bedroom with a comfortable double bed fitted with high-end linens and generous, modern storage. Through this bedroom you will find the updated laundry room with side-by-side, high-efficiency washer, and dryer units.

On the lower patio, guests will find an outdoor lounge area complete with comfortable furniture and modern bowl fire pit. This is the perfect space to spend an evening enjoying a bottle of wine while the stars come out over the ocean.

While this home is impressive, the property and outdoor living spaces are equally so! Take a wander to the back of the property to find the private beach access via the large stairway. At the foot of the first set of stairs, you will find a small landing sheltered from the neighbouring homes by evergreens but with a central view of the Inlet and Peninsula beyond. Here, you can find a quiet moment to yourself or roll out your yoga mat on a sunny day and enjoy your practice in peace and privacy.

Continuing down the staircase, and you will find a small second landing with seating and a view but its the bottom of the staircase where you will find a private beach hideaway. Here, guests can sit in the comfortable Adirondack chairs around the firepit and watch the tide come in, look for orcas in the inlet and catch incredible sunrises.

While the beach itself is public, it is hidden and primarily used only by the neighbours who have similar access from their properties.

During the warm shoulder seasons and summer months, this is an ideal home to get out on the water! If you are looking for a bigger city experience, Victoria is only 40 minutes away by car. Here, you can experience everything the capital city has to offer from world-class dining and shopping to popular attractions and activities.

In 2020 the Cowichan Valley was officially recognized as an official wine producing sub-region and the vineyards in the area produce some of the best wine in Canada! If you are looking for a way to explore the Cowichan Valley, take a wine tour through one of the local companies or visit on your own! Most have incredible restaurants, and the knowledgeable staff are always happy to tell visitors all about the vineyard!

The Cowichan Valley also has incredible hiking and cycling trails for all skill levels, tons of beautifully maintained parks, lakes, rivers and beaches to explore.

If you want to find some cultural experiences, a quick drive north to the city of Duncan has a wonderful walking tour across the city where you can see over 40 totems carved by local Coast Salish artists.

Ten minutes south of the home, you can see the newly erected Malahat Skywalk - a soaring tower with unobstructed 360 degree views at the top where you can take in the beauty of the Saanich Inlet and see all the way to Mt Baker.

Take the Mill Bay ferry over to the Saanich Peninsula and visit the world famous Butchart Gardens or drive south to Victoria and walk through the Royal BC Museum, visit Craigdarroch or Hatley Castle and spend an afternoon wandering through Beacon Hill Park.
