Walking through the front doors, you will notice the clean, unobstructed sightlines that showcase the exceptional interior design and highlight the natural beauty of Hammond Bay. The main floor opens directly onto the sophisticated living room that boasts a luxurious white sectional, plush rugs, high-end, modern decor, a large flat screen TV and gas fireplace.

The kitchen is sleek with the clean lines of an elevated mid century modern design. Premium stainless steel appliances, gorgeous white granite countertops, glossy dark wood cupboards and a gas range for precision cooking make this kitchen an ideal backdrop for everything from haute cuisine to simple home cooking. Plus, there is ample seating at the breakfast bar and little breakfast nook for more casual dining. Adjacent to the kitchen, you will find the elegant, formal dining room. For nature lovers, a five minute drive north will take you to Neck Point Park a stunning, waterfront park with trails for every skill level and a five minute drive south youll find Pipers Lagoon Park a popular bird watching spot where winding trails loop around a peaceful lagoon.

For a unique experience, head downtown and take the ferry to Saysutshun - Newcastle Island Marine Provincial Park. This tiny island, just off the coast of Nanaimo, is a great place to spend the day hiking and swimming and even has camping if you are so inclined!

Take a trip to explore historic downtown Nanaimo and find an eclectic mix of fashion, art, vintage store and eateries plus a beautiful seaside harbour walk.

If you are interested in a little shopping therapy Woodgrove Mall, Nanaimo Town Center, Brooks Landing and Country Club Center are all excellent malls to get everyday staples and do some window shopping.

Centrally located on Vancouver Island, Nanaimo is an ideal place to start exploring Vancouver Island. North of Nanaimo, you will find Parksville and the enormous Rathtrevor Beach where low tide allows you to walk for kilometers on the sand. In Coombs, the Old Country Market, famous for having goats roaming on the roof has local gifts, a farm market, ice cream, a stunning restaurant and yes, goats.
