Suite 304 at the Miraloma on the Cove invites you to a unique experience on Vancouver Island. Located just one mile north of downtown Sidney, the Miraloma overlooks the waters of Shoal Harbour. It is situated on the site that once was the Lieutenant-Governor's summer residence, and still retains the historic gardens where you can stroll through native flowers and plantings. Next door is the Latch Restaurant, the original Governor's house and now a fine dining establishment.

Miraloma 304 is on the top floor overlooking the harbour entrance, where boats sail by, to be enjoyed from the wrap-around balcony or from your private master bedroom. Accommodation is spacious at 1033 square feet, including a master bedroom with king bed and a guest bedroom with queen bed and living room with a double size hide-a-bed. The kitchenette is equipped with fridge, microwave-convection oven, dishes and utensils, dish washer and a washer and dryer. Each bedroom has a private full bathroom. For evening comfort there are two natural gas fireplaces and three televisions. The two bedroom-bathroom sets have separate interior doors for privacy. Parking is available in a secure underground area or the adjacent surface parking lot. Miraloma 304 is ideal for two couples or a family of four to six.

Activities are varied, from sedate to casual to adventurous. Outdoor enthusiasts can cycle or kayak, take in whale watching or ocean fishing, or perhaps charter a vessel from the nearby Van Isle Marina, just a five-minute walk away. The Saanich Peninsula is noted for produce farms, excellent golf courses, and Butchart Gardens for the botanical buffs. Back at the Miraloma, you can relax by day in the atrium for quiet conversation or reading by the large fireplace.

The town of Sidney by the Sea is noted for several tourist attractions. For example,it is Canada's Book town, sporting eight book stores for your browsing pleasure. If marine life is your interest, the Ocean Discovery Centre near the waterfront takes you on a submariners tour of local aquatic life or just wander along the waterfront walkway and enjoy the ongoing ocean activities, or take a harbour cruise. End your stroll at any of several restaurants and pubs, such as the Rumrunner Pub, frequented by the salty crowd from nearby Sidney Marina. When you finally have to leave, choices of day trips and departure are many. Victoria is only 30 minutes drive south and the international airport and car ferry services are within ten minutes drive of the Miraloma.

Due to maintenance work, break downs, building bylaw changes, or any reason that could prevent access during a guest stay to any common area amenities will not be compensated.
