Welcome to City Seaside, a house right by the sea and right in the heart of Kitsilano, Vancouver's hippest and happiest neighbourhood! The recently renovated Craftsman house will give you all the comfort and charm of 1912 and all the conveniences of 2010.

The house has a spacious hall and staircase with oak floors throughout. The huge, south-facing, sunny 20 sq. ft living room has a wood-burning fireplace. The separate dining room with a huge antique mahogany table with 3 leaves allows for sit down dining for 16 people or even intimate dinners for two or four. The efficient Pullman-style kitchen has two wall ovens, a gas stove, large fridge and cupboard space. The upstairs has fir floors throughout! The 3 bedrooms have double beds, and are all recently renovated. The new bathroom has a skylight, large soaker tub, shower, sink and plenty of counter space. City Seaside has a 12ft ceiling greenhouse and conservatory off the second floor that allows light and rejuvenation in the depth of winter. The south-facing suite in the basement has a separate entrance, high ceilings and a large 20 foot square living and sleeping area that can be flexibly arranged. A compact kitchen and large bathroom make this a comfortable and independent living space. There is also high speed wireless internet, a stereo, and high definition TV.

There is no rural or urban interface in the world like the neighbourhood of Kitsilano. Here there is superb nature in the middle of the city groove. One block from the sea and 13 miles of beaches and parks right up against the best restaurants, jazz clubs, services and shopping. City Seaside is just two blocks from all bus transportation. A short drive or bike ride to the UBC Thunderbird arena, 20 minutes walking or 10 minutes biking distance to the Olympic Village and the cultural attractions of Granville Island.
