Welcome to Eastcot House in the beautiful and exclusive British Properties of West Vancouver your home-away-from-home for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Located on a quiet, tree-lined street, this luxury six bedroom property is conveniently located within 10 minutes to downtown Vancouver, and Cypress Mountain events. It is a glorious 1 hour drive to Whistler Mountain venues, on the Sea to Sky Highway, voted one of the top scenic drives in the world.

Eastcot House is a 4100 square foot or 380 square metre two storey home, nestled in almost 1/2 acre of mature cedar trees, ponds, patios and natural landscaping. There is parking for four cars in the driveway. The first floor is wheel-chair accessible, and children, pets are most welcome, and special requests will be honoured if at all possible.

After a long and busy day, enter the foyer, with its oak floors, ornate sconces and overhead Tivoli recessed lighting in the 'sky ceiling'. Relax in the sunken living room, with its Perisian carpet, antique couches, and superb sound system, in front of the glowing wood fireplace. Play the piano, or lounge in the upstairs surround sound media room to watch Olympic events or DVDs on the 60 inch screen TV. Catch up on events at home, with in-house wireless computer access. Relax on the sunny outdoor patio, while your steaks are sizzling on the barbecue. Enjoy the brand new custom gourmet kitchen, with every possible amenity including granite countertops, Sapele cabinets, heated marble floors, stainless steel appliances, Wolf cooktop, Nespresso coffee system and wine fridge. Dine in the spacious kitchen nook overlooking one of the ponds, where hummingbirds come to feed all year long, or choose the luxurious adjoining dining room with huge sliding glass doors opening onto patio and garden views. Sleep in luxurious privacy on cloud-soft mattresses in the six beautifully appointed bedrooms. Choose a bedroom with a double bed, or one of two bedrooms each with two single beds, one with a queen-sized bed, or a bedroom with a double bed with single bunk-bed over it. All have large closets and dressers, and are luxuriously carpeted. The master suite contains a unique sleigh bed, a balcony and its own huge and comfortable private bathroom with separate tub and shower. The other two full bathrooms have a tub and shower combination and double sinks. There is also a lovely powder room with pedestal sink off the entrance. A dedicated laundry room includes high efficiency extra capacity stacking washer and dryer plus walk-in closet.

Close by, an endless array of outdoor activities beckon including cross-country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing, sailing and boating, whale-watching tours, float plane excursions, hiking part of the Cross-Canada Trail or visiting the world-renowned Capilano Suspension Bridge. Minutes away, great restaurants of every description abound, as well as superb shopping at Park Royal Village. It is 15 minutes to B.C. Ferries routes to Vancouver Island or the Sunshine Coast and the airport is a 35 minute drive. There is bus transportation within a block which will take you to shopping, across the Lions Gate Bridge to Vancouver, or to the Sea Bus and Sky Train systems which give access to the entire region.
