Welcome to this spacious, bright, open-concept West Coast style home with stunning ocean and mountain views, situated in the charming village of Lions Bay. Enjoy spectacular sunsets while soaking in the outdoor hot tub or from the comfort of cozy couches around a large stone fireplace. Have a snowball fight in the garden or snowshoe on forest trails minutes from your doorstep. You will feel part of a small, friendly, safe community with some great local events planned during the Olympics. This is a perfect home-base for your Olympic adventure and a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends.

The main entrance leads to a spacious living room with cathedral ceiling, skylights, a large stone fireplace and a wall of windows looking out over Howe Sound. This is a great place for relaxing with family and friends, listening to music on the stereo system or making your own music on piano, guitars and other instruments. The panoramic ocean view continues into the dining area which seats 10. The fully-equipped open-concept kitchen opens onto a family room with a second stone fireplace and TV/DVD entertainment area. A large deck with hot tub runs along the front of the house with entrances off the living and family rooms. The spacious king master bedroom with en suite is on its own higher level with a lovely balcony to enjoy those spectacular ocean sunsets. Two comfortable twin bedrooms are on the main floor near a large full bathroom.

The main floor office leads to a fully contained ground-level suite with a separate entrance - perfect for those coming to the Games with a larger group of family or friends. The suite has a fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom, two bedrooms queen, single bunk beds and a large recreation room with 52 inch flat screen TV, DVD, Wii and Xbox game systems including full Rock Band fun and plenty of board games. High speed internet is available throughout the house.

There is ample flat parking near both entrances for up to 8 vehicles. House-trained dogs big and small are welcome to enjoy this home including a fenced-in outdoor play area and local dog-walking trails.

Lions Bay is a small community with three beach parks, a network of rain forest hiking trails and a Village Centre with a general store, caf and art gallery. Shopping areas are located 15 minutes from Lions Bay in Caulfield - Safeway, Drugstore, Liquor Store, Bank, Restaurant, and Spa, or 30 minutes away in the city of Squamish en route to Whistler. Horseshoe Bay is 10 minutes away and has a charming harbor and waterfront area, including many restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops. Public transit is available via regular shuttle between Caulfield, Horseshoe Bay and Lions Bay.

The Village of Lions Bay is situated close to a multitude of Olympic sport venues 20 minutes to Cypress Mountain for freestyle skiing and snowboarding, 60 minutes to Callaghan Valley and Whistler for ski jump, cross country skiing, biathlon, alpine skiing, bobsleigh, loge and skeleton, 30 minutes to the Pacific Coliseum for figure skating and short track speed skating 35 minutes to Canada Place for ice hockey, 50 minutes to the Richmond Oval for long track speed skating and 40 minutes to the Vancouver Olympic Centre/Paralympics Centre. To get to various Olympic events, you will drive along the new Sea to Sky highway, an opportunity to enjoy some of the world's most spectacular scenery from the ocean, islands and mountains around Howe Sound to the majestic peaks and glaciers north of Squamish.
